Online Assessment by Occupational Therapists At Rebound Physio Clinic, we offer Paediatric Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) conducted online by our experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs). This virtual assessment evaluates a child’s functional abilities in their home, school, and community environments, providing essential insights for legal, medical, educational, and funding-related decisions.
Our Paediatric FCA includes:
Comprehensive Clinical Interview Conducted via video call with parents, caregivers, and, if needed, educators. Physical & Motor Skills Evaluation Observing fine and gross motor skills, coordination, and functional movement through guided activities. Cognitive & Sensory Processing Assessment Assessing attention, memory, problem-solving, and sensory responses using structured online tasks and caregiver input. Self-Care & Daily Living Skills Evaluating independence in dressing, eating, toileting, and hygiene through caregiver reports and live observations. School & Community Participation - Assessing engagement in academic activities through online observation and feedback from teachers, while also understanding communication, social interactions, and emotional regulation in familiar settings. Environmental & Equipment Needs Recommending environmental modifications, assistive devices, and therapy strategies based on real-time video assessments. Comprehensive Report & Recommendations Providing a detailed report with findings, functional goals, and intervention strategies.
Duration & Fees
